The site will be taking a short break until the end of next week, as I have a few things that need to be done until then. But have no fear, Sexy Never Left will be back up and running with more on talented artists within music, etc from the 8th March.

Until then, have a great week or so and be sure to take a look at previous artists who have been featured on the site.

Let’s All Bow Down For The One & Only Jill Scott

Jill Scott, for those who do not already know, is my idol. I absolutely adore everything she does as a talented artist; songwriter; poet and actress; she just oozes talent from her very being. As a writer myself, I can truly appreciate everything she has to say, everything she sings about. But you don’t have to be able to write poetry in order to appreciate the beauty that this artist continuously puts out in all that she does, she’s just so respected for the talent she is within music. I could be here all day, listing reasons why I am a huge fan of Jill Scott. But I will keep it simple.

Below is a video of a recent interview she did with Mo’Nique, which is well worth watching. I am definitely very excited for Jill’s new album, which is said to be released this year. I’m waiting already. Enjoy the interview!

Underrated: Glenn Lewis

Glenn Lewis is an artist I have been a fan of for quite some time now, ever since he released his debut album numerous years back, ‘World Outside My Window’, an album that went virtually overlooked within the industry, despite Glenn being an amazing talent. Hopefully there will be bigger things to come from this artist.

In the meantime, here is an interview Glenn did for Leonn & Carlton Unplanned a while back.

Artist Spotlight: Shaheen

Shaheen is a British singer/songwriter and a very talented one too; she was first noticed with Leeds based Nu-Jazz band, ‘Today’s Mathematics’. Shaheen received recognition by featuring on Radio 1, where the single, ‘Butterfly’, received love from the likes of Trevor Nelson and led to her collaborating with Tru Thoughts, Nostalgia 77. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength and has now decided that the time is right for her to do her own thing, she’s not wrong, as she showcases how she has what it takes to be an artist to watch out for within the new year.

If you wish to find out more on this artist, then you can do via clicking here.

Under The Radar: Nate James

Nate James happens to be one of my favourite British artists and has been for numerous years now; he knows how to deliver fantastic music and quirk things up a bit with his style. For anyone who doesn’t know who he is, then wow you have certainly been missing out on some fantastic music, with two studio albums and a covers album under his belt, Nate has showcased himself as one of the finest underrated talents within the UK. I would seriously recommend that you check out his work, especially his incredible debut album ‘Set The Tone’ from a few years back, followed by his amazing follow up album ‘Kingdom Falls’. The covers album he released last year, ‘Revival’, is said to be a sweetener until his next studio album is released sometime in the near future. It’ll definitely be worth checking out, Nate has continuously been one of those artists who always brings the goods to music.

Even though I previously mentioned that Nate is very underrated here in his homeland, he does have a set following of fans across Europe and is pretty big in Japan also. Japan in particular seem to really appreciate great music, so the fact that he is popular over there comes as no surprise. A lot of really great talents seem to have a large following overseas, hopefully Nate can be just as big here at some point in the future.

Here is an interview that he did a while back, which shows you how down to earth this artist actually is.

Future Star: Tamanda Walker

Singer/songwriter Tamanda Walker was born and raised in Botswana, but it was in London where she studied at the Vocaltech College completing a Diploma in Jazz and Pop Vocals. It was whilst she was on this course that Tamanda decided to pursue learning how to play the piano and where she made progress in her songwriting; which ultimately caught the attention of Yak Bondy, who works for 19 Management (Simon Fuller’s company). It was he who persuaded Tamanda to pursue what he considered as a ‘raw’ talent within music and it was from this that she went on to win the Sibelius Award for Songwriter of the Year. No doubt there will be bigger and better things to come from this very talented artist, as she continues to go from strength to strength.

If you just so happen to be in London or fancy going to a great gig this coming Friday 19th February, then you are sure in for a treat as Tamanda showcases her talent at IndigO2 where she will be doing an exclusive promo for her EP, tickets are a snip at £10 and can be purchased via emailing here and stating how many you would like to purchase. If you do go, then you are seriously in for a good time as Tamanda certainly has what it takes to be a huge star within music.

In the meantime, you can view a music video from the very talented Tamanda below and if you wish to find out more on this very talented artist, then you can do so via clicking here and here. Enjoy!

Tamanda Walker – City Queen

Leading The Way In Creativity: Janelle Monáe

Now it just so happens that Janelle Monáe has been one of my favourite artists within music for some time now, especially as she’s one of those talents within music who stands by her integrity as an artist, it’s so rare at the moment within music, when everything and everyone is jumping on the bandwagon of creating something that will rake in millions by taking the commercial route. You can rest assured Janelle would never be one of those artists and fans of her work knew that from the get go, when she unleashed her talent on the world numerous years ago.

Now my week was made a few days ago when Janelle debuted her amazing single, ‘Tightrope’, which just oozes that certain funk (and features Outkast’s, Big Boi) a song truly needs. I am definitely more than ready for her new CD, ‘The ArchAndroid’, which is said to be released on May 18th of this year. I cannot wait and I know you probably can’t either!

In the meantime, enjoy the rather amazing song mentioned below; as it will definitely wet you appetite for what else is to come. You can purchase this song, as well as ‘Cold War’, another rather amazing song from Janelle which surfaced on her website the other day. Enjoy!

Janelle Monáe – Tightrope (feat. Big Boi)

Always Shining In Whatever She Does: Corinne Bailey Rae

It’s no secret that I absolutely adore the latest album to come from the amazingly talented, Corinne Bailey Rae. Infact, I love it. I can literally play it over and over again without skipping one song, which is a definite sign of a great album and it seems to be doing pretty well too, which is great. ‘The Sea’ reached number five over here in the album charts last week, which was amazing considering the album was hardly promoted. I think it’s lovely when great music is truly appreciated and Corinne has certainly produced some great music over the past few years.

Here is the latest music video to come from Corinne (which is rather amazing) for you to take a look at. Enjoy!

Corinne Bailey Rae – Paris Nights/New York Mornings

Continuously Shining Like The Star He Is: Guy Sebastian

It’s no secret that I absolutely adore Guy Sebastian, his voice is just so soulful, you could place the Yellow Pages in front of him and he’d somehow find a way to make it sound amazingly sexy. He has yet to bless us over here in the UK with his presence, but he still has a small fanbase budding over here despite the fact he hasn’t yet released anything officially here, although there is talk he might one day grace us with his amazing self at one point or another. If you somehow have been living under a rock for the past numerous years and do not know who I am talking of, then wow, you have seriously been missing out. You can find out more on Guy by clicking here.

In the meantime, here is Guy’s latest video for you to feast your eyes on. Enjoy!

Proving That Patience Is A Virtue: Teedra Moses

I’ve been a fan of Teedra Moses for numerous years now and she just doesn’t disappoint when it comes to delivering music, you always know that it’s going to be something beyond special, something well worth waiting for and worth checking out. ‘Complex Simplicity’ was incredible, so I am definitely more than ready for a new project, a new album at some point. We keep being fed little nuggets by Teedra and she certainly knows how to reel us fans onto her page, leaving us wanting to hear more, the sign of a fantastic artist. It’s just such a shame that she’s still so underrated within music, if only many others could appreciate this amazing talent within music, the maybe the charts would be in a better condition than they are at the moment.

Speaking of Teedra reeling us fans in, she has unleashed her latest project on us to feast our ears on and here comes a word that many people like, it’s absolutely ‘free’. You can download the goodness for yourself by clicking the link below; you can thank Teedra herself by visiting her
Twitter page. Enjoy!

Underrated: Martin Luther

Martin Luther McCoy is an artist who was born to sing and that is quite evident within his music, which boasts styles from a variety of genres, including Gospel, Rock, Funk and Soul music, all which blend to create something special and unique, something well worth checking out. I hadn’t heard much on this artist, until I heard little bits and pieces a while back, it must be a couple of years ago and I never actually got around to checking out his full album back then, but I was definitely intrigued. I always appreciate talent within music and Martin Luther certainly boasts bags of that. If you do not know who this artist is, I would certainly recommend familiarising yourself with his music, which is well worth checking out and you can obviously find out more via clicking here.

Here is Martin Luther’s rather amazing live cover of a famous Nirvana song.

Martin Luther – Heart Shaped Box (Live)

Bringing The Funk: The Neutronics

Boasting influences along the likes of Prince; Sly & The Family Stone; Foo Fighters; James Brown; N*E*R*D, amongst many others – you just knew that these guys would be interesting when producing their own sound within music and incredibly unique they are too, well worth checking out, if you haven’t already.

Here is their rather unique introduction to their work:

On his arrival to Earth from the little known planet Psychofunkadelia, Supa Soul Brotha Del was fortunate enough to encounter The Professor who, along with his trusted friend Malamas and young assistant Talbert, was devoted to the study of the Legend of the Groove in an East London attic. Thus were The Neutronics formed and the Spaceship constructed.

If you wish to find out more or hear music from this group, then you can do so via clicking
here or here.

In the meantime, here is a live performance of theirs that should definitely wet your tastebuds. Enjoy!

Finally, She's Back: Vivian Green

For a while now I have found myself wondering where one of my favourite artists within music has disappeared to, Vivian Green, who just so happens to be amazingly talented and has showcased just that on her previous work, which was definitely some time ago now. So I’m sure many others who are also big fans of Vivian’s work are eager to hear more from this very talented artist.

Well with all of that said, it seems that a new song from Vivian has surfaced (a couple or so weeks back now actually) and it definitely showcases why it has been well worth the wait, a long wait all the same, but worth it. It definitely makes you more appreciative of an artist’s work when they take a break from the spotlight and that definitely seems the case with Vivian, who after a few years is back with a new album in the pipeline. This year is sounding great for music already, what with new music from the likes of Corinne Bailey Rae; Jill Scott; Vivian Green; amongst many others. We will be in for a great year with new music.

Here is the latest song from the very talented Vivian Green, which you can listen to below.

Vivian Green – Beautiful

Under The Radar: Van Hunt

Van Hunt is a talent who is still so underrated within music; he seems such a misunderstood talent who has had to struggle as of late to make his material heard, going against labels that have held his music back from being released, to releasing things himself on his website.

Van Hunt for me remains an amazing talent within music, one that deserves a lot more love and attention from music fans. It’s just a shame that record labels define how successful you are going to be these days; this artist should not have had the problem of his label holding his music back. It seems a lot of talented artists out there have the same problem with labels; artists should have the freedom to reach their potential within the industry without having to justify their art to sell units and make these so called record labels bags of cash.

Here are a number of songs from Van Hunt for you to listen to, they should give the people who don’t yet know of this talent some insight into how amazingly underrated he actually is.

Van Hunt – At The End Of A Slow Dance

Van Hunt – Down Here In Hell (With You)

Van Hunt – Ur Personal Army

Van Hunt – Next Year

So Much Talent: Melinda Doolittle

Now this is an artist who is just incredible, not content with delivering one of the best albums this year in the form of her incredible debut, ‘Coming Back To You’. An album that deserves so much more love for the masterpiece that it is, I don’t think this artist could do any wrong; she just oozes talent and soul. Something we need a lot more of within music, especially when so much talent is slipping under the radar.

Melinda is an incredible artist, so if you haven’t yet come to learn of how talented this artist is, even after amazing many people while on the sixth season of American Idol (which she came third in), then here is a live performance that showcases just how incredible a talent Melinda is within music.

Melinda Doolittle – Wonder Why (Live)

Taking A Window Seat: Erykah Badu

Erykah Badu is known for being herself when it comes to her music and going by all that she has released in the past, you know that she is going to deliver when it comes to releasing her upcoming album, ‘New Amerykah Pt. 2 Return of the Ankh’ and going on the quality of the latest song to surface from the album, ‘Window Seat’, we are definitely in for a treat with this album. This is the Erykah we all know and love, she was always going to bring the goods with this project, she always does.

You can take a listen to the latest song from Erykah below. Enjoy!

Erykah Badu – Window Seat

NEWS: Jill Scott Responds To Hidden Beach Allegations

As previously mentioned here, Hidden Beach are allegedly suing Jill Scott for supposedly breaching her contract with them and now it seems Jill has actually responded to the reports that she is being sued, here is what the statement read:

“The lawsuit filed on February 3, 2010 by Hidden Beach Recordings against Jill Scott has no legal merit and misrepresents the history of Ms. Scott’s relationship with the label,” the statement reads. “Jill Scott has the legal right to terminate her recording contract with Hidden Beach Recordings under California’s 7-year rule, where she had been a recording artist for more than 10 years. During her time at Hidden Beach Recordings, she released several highly successful albums. At this time, with many creative projects in the works which include music, film and television roles and product development, Ms. Scott looks forward to continuing to further her artistry and building the Jill Scott brand in other creative environments.”

SOURCE

This is very interesting and I understand completely that Jill wants to move onto pastures new with her work. Who wouldn’t when you’ve been in a set place for such a long time? She probably feels ready for a change. I just hope and pray that this works itself out and us fans get a new CD from Jill Scott, the last thing we need is an album placed on hiatus, I need to hear something new from Jill, I’m having withdrawels since the release of her last album. Haha!

Groove Theory Back Creating Music Together

Again, thanks to Pinboard for the heads up on this fantastic news that the amazing group Groove Theory are back together. Here is the lowdown on the amazing news:

According to music mastermind and executive producer Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond, the hitmaking duo Groove Theory is back together and currently working on their reunion album. “It’s going well,” said Rosemond, whose Czar Entertainment firm also manages the likes of L.A. rapper, The Game. “They haven’t worked together in so long, and like most groups that break up, they’ve come into their own, so it’s almost like sharing that spotlight again, but it’s coming along. I’m excited.”

The world was first introduced to the velvety vocals of sultry singer-songwriter Amel Larrieux and the soulful sounds of producer-musician Bryce Wilson (formerly of Mantronix) in the fall of 1995. Collectively known as Groove Theory, their self-titled debut album and its lead single, “Tell Me,” along with the earlier release that summer of D’Aneglo’s “Brown Sugar,” formed the vanguard of what would become known as the Neo-Soul movement that ushered in the likes of Maxwell, Erykah Badu, and later, Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, and India.Arie.

Groove Theory’s first single and album were both RIAA gold-certified, but there was to be no follow-up disc. After a couple of soundtrack appearances—“Never Enough” on Love Jones in March of 1996 and “It’s Alright” on Sunset Park that April—the group drifted apart. Larrieux formally exited the group in 1999, releasing her debut solo single “Get Up” in October, the same month the Groove Theory album had dropped four years prior. She made her solo debut with 2000’s Infinite Possibilities, and has since released three albums, Bravebird in 2004, Morning in 2006, and a jazz standards album, Lovely Standards in 2007. She also appeared on the soundtracks for Barbershop in a duet with Glenn Lewis in 2002 and Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married with “No One Else” in 2005.

After Larrieux’s departure, Bryce continued on with Groove Theory, adding Makeda Davis as lead singer, but the reconfigured group failed to gain traction and put out a largely unnoticed EP, 4 Shure, in 2000 before officially disbanding in 2001. In 2003, he joined with Rosemond to found Czar Entertainment. Bryce continued his production, working with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, and Toni Braxton and being involved in the creation of records that have sold tens of millions. Wilson also pursued an acting career that most notably included the role of James in 2005’s Beauty Shop.

Rosemond expects new Groove Theory joints to become public very soon. “In about two months, real light promo through the Internet and see how radio and people react to it,” says Rosemond. For him, although he’s literally and figuratively guiding “The Game,” there will always be a special place for Groove Theory. “It’s exciting to me because I started with them,” says Rosemond. “If I can make that work again that’ll be a complete circle for me because I don’t know how long I’m going to be in this music business. I just kind of think that 20 years in any business, you have to start thinking about your exit. If I can come full circle and do something real nice and good with them, I’d be very happy.”

This is amazing news, I am a huge fan of Amel Larrieux, so it will definitely be very interesting to hear something new from these guys. With so many great albums from other amazing artists coming this year, it looks like 2010 will be a great year for music as a whole. I’m definitely looking forward to this project.

She’s A Soul Survivor: Beverley Knight

Everyone who knows me knows that I truly respect Beverley Knight and her obvious talent within music, so I find it slightly frustrating that she’s still so heavily underrated within the industry. She should definitely receive a lot more love, especially as she has worked so incredibly hard whilst being in music for well over fifteen years.

Beverley’s latest album, ‘100%’, which was out towards the end of last year definitely showcases her as one of the UK’s best talents, someone who can consistently deliver amazing project after amazing project, so it is with great pleasure to post the music video to her latest single taken from her latest album. Now on the album Chaka Khan collaborates with Beverley on this song, but somehow she doesn’t make an appearance in the music video, which is a huge shame, especially as the original edit featured on the album which features both of them is that good.

Anyway, don’t let that put you off Beverley’s latest music video which is live and definitely worth checking out. Enjoy!

Beverley Knight – Soul Survivor

NEWS: Jill Scott Being Sued By Her Record Label

I would like to thank Pinboard for the heads up on this news story that has recently surfaced. Here is the lowdown, as reported online:

R&B star Jill Scott has been sued by her longtime record label, which has accused her of pulling out halfway through a six-album record contract.

Industry paper The Hollywood Reporter said Hidden Beach Records is seeking damages for the money it would have made from the rest of the deal.

The complaint, filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court, said it was "shocked by her decision" to leave the label.

Ms Scott also stars in the TV series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency.

In 2007 the Grammy award-winning star made her cinematic debut in the film Hounddog, before starring in Why Did I Get Married? later the same year.

She went on to win the lead role in The No 1 Ladies' Detective Agency.

'Incredibly talented'

The legal action states that Hidden Beach's founder, Steve McKeever, helped launch Ms Scott's career, but was dumped in October after more than 10 years of collaboration. "Hidden Beach is shocked by her decision, not only because Scott has apparently chosen to leave the Hidden Beach family, but also because Scott is contractually required to deliver three more albums to Hidden Beach."

Since breaking onto the scene with the double-platinum selling Who Is Jill Scott? album in 2000, Ms Scott's studio albums have generated millions in revenue.

Hidden Beach's alleged damages remain unspecified, but under California law they could total several million dollars.

Mr McKeever said he paid Ms Scott generous advances when he was not required to, allowed her to keep merchandising revenue and paid a large sum of money to fund a concert DVD that the singer later asked not be released.

"Hidden Beach feels that Jill Scott is an incredibly talented artist," the company's lawyer, Lawrence Hinkle, said.

"No one regrets that this lawsuit had to be filed more than Hidden Beach, but its hands were tied and it
had no other option."

Ms Scott was unavailable to comment.
SOURCE

I certainly hope this will not delay the new album, which fans need to hear soon, we’ve certainly been waiting a while for the new project and although it’s sad that Jill seems to have parted ways with Hidden Beach, maybe it’s understandable in the sense that she wishes to pursue better ways to promote her work with a new label. All in all, leaving a previous label can be quite messy, so we’ll have to wait to see what happens. I just hope it doesn’t place the new album on hold until further notice.

A Lot More To Offer: Fantasia

Fantasia remains one of my favourite finalists from American Idol, along with Melinda Doolittle, Tamyra Gray and Jennifer Hudson. So no doubt the new album will definitely be worth checking out, as her last album was actually pretty good and Fantasia has so much to offer the music industry.

Until we hear more on the supposed new project, here are a couple of songs Fantasia has delivered previously to prepare you for the new release.

Fantasia – Truth Is

Fantasia – When I See You

Talent Really Does Exist: Sy Smith

I have so much time for artists like Sy Smith, she is she so amazingly talented and creative, just what the music industry needs right now. If you do not know of her music, where have you been hiding? You have certainly been missing out on some truly incredible music. But do not worry, it’s better to tune into a talented artist late than never at all.

Sy has been mentioning on her Twitter page and on a video stream she recently did (before running onstage for a show) that Nicolay has remixed one of her songs, which is exciting in itself, as fans of her work will tell you, she always delivers quality material within music, so it’s always nice to hear something new from this artist, even if it is a remix, fans still welcome it with open arms because we know that it will be great.

In the meantime, here is a live performance that she did, followed by some music videos from this artist that should definitely give those who do not yet know of this talent a little more insight into what they are truly missing out on.

Sy Smith – Feel Like Makin Love (Live)

Sy Smith – The Art Of You

Sy Smith – Fly Away With Me

Sy Smith – Conflict (This Is Your Brain On Drugs)

Sy Smith – B-Side Love Affair

Underrated: Amel Larrieux

Some people may already know that Amel Larrieux used to be a member of Groove Theory, others may only know of her through her solo work. Yet, Amel continues to be an amazing talent within music, one who consistently delivers groundbreaking material. She is an artist who has previously released four albums, all of which showcase this artist as an incredible talent within music, Amel is said to currently be working on her fifth album, which should also be just as amazing going by how great her previous albums were and are highly recommended to those who still have not heard of this artist. Amel Larrieux is an artist who definitely has so much to offer music.

Here are a couple of Amel’s songs for you to listen to and should give those who have not yet heard of her insight into this amazing talent within music.

Amel Larrieux – For Real

Amel Larrieux – Orange Glow

A Rarity Within Music: Brittany Bosco

Brittany Bosco is quite simply a rarity within music these days, she’s someone who continuously places out music that isn’t like anything else you’ve ever heard or come across before. That is a great thing, especially when there are so many artists around within music who consistently try and mould themselves into something that has previously proved successful. It really is such a brave direction to take, especially when certain people will have something to say on an artist taking a route that is so different to the commercial sweethearts. There are other artists around within music that break away from the mould within music and it’s always nice to hear something different.

Upon first listen of this, you can easily tell that this song is very rock influenced, it almost sounds like something you’d hear from a group in that very genre, so you’d be forgiven for not associating this song with a Soul artist, infact it’s a lot more edgier than Brittany’s previous efforts. It’s a very interesting route to take with music and interesting music I like.

If you haven’t taken the time to download the previous release from the insanely talented Brittany Bosco, ‘Spectrum 2.0’, then where have you been hiding?

In the meantime, here is Brittany’s latest offering for you to check out below.

Preparing Herself For The Next Invasion: Erykah Badu

Now it feels like Erykah has been teasing us with possible release dates recently, especially as the majority of fans are eagerly awaiting her next project, ‘New Amerykah Pt. 2 Return of the Ankh’, which has been pushed back a couple of times and left the majority of her fans wondering if it will surface anytime soon.

Erykah Badu is incredibly unique in her style and it’s that which I have so much respect and admiration for, she just oozes creativity. So, when I saw Lil Wayne’s name on the feature list, well, let’s just say that I became a little worried – thinking that I wouldn’t like this new song Erykah has let us in on, as he is one of those artists you either get or you don’t and in the past he has had a real tendency to grate on my every nerve with his music. But, this song is actually pretty good. Infact, it’s hyped me up for the new project and we all know that Erykah is going to bring the goods with this new album.

So sit back and enjoy the latest and unique offering from the very talented, Erykah Badu.

Erykah Badu - Jump Up In The Air And Stay There (feat. Bilal & Lil Wayne)

On Her Way Back: Fantasia

So it seems that Fantasia is on her way back this year with her eagerly awaited third studio album, which is still untitled. It is said that the first single from the upcoming project will drop sometime within this year apparently; it is definitely very exciting news. The new project is said to feature production from the likes of Raphael Saadiq; Midi Mafia and many others, so we are no doubt in for a real treat with the new album.

In the meantime, here is a new song that has surfaced from the lady herself which definitely showcases why this artist is so good. I’m looking forward to hearing more from this artist; it’s definitely been a while.

Fantasia – Even Angels

Waiting Patiently For The Next Jill Scott Invasion

Everyone who knows me knows that I absolutely adore Jill Scott’s music; she happens to be one of my favourite artists in the music industry and has been for a long time now. So when I recently heard the amazing news that we should be receiving a new album from the talented lady herself this year, needless to say I was very excited and I still am. As a majority of others who are familiar with Jill’s work will know, she always brings the goods when she releases something new and her previous albums have been consistently amazing, no doubt the new album will be too.

Jill also happens to be an amazingly gifted actress and has showcased her strength in this with previous roles and now she has a new project, which I previously mentioned, up her sleeves. Infact, ‘Sins Of A Mother’ is due on TV screens in the USA this month and should be a real treat to watch, if only to see how amazing Jill is in her latest role.

In the meantime, here is a clip of the upcoming TV movie below. Enjoy!

Sins Of A Mother Trailer

The Future’s Bright For Independent Music: Jimetta Rose

So many incredibly underrated independent artists are being discovered on the internet just lately and although it’s a great shame that they’re hardly recognised for being so incredibly talented within music, it’s nice to finally see some great music surfacing from artists who certainly know how to churn out amazing projects time and time again.

Jimetta Rose is certainly no different and showcases exactly why she is an artist who deserves a lot more love and recognition within the industry and has worked with many people within music, including the likes of Dibiase; Georgia Anne Muldrow, amongst many others. Like the artist she reminds me of, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Jimetta has a tendency to produce her vocals to amazing effect. All in all, this is a fabulous piece of artistry from an artist who should definitely be more heard of.

In the meantime, you can listen to more work from Jimetta Rose below and if you like what you hear, you can purchase this artists material by clicking here.
