They’ve Got It Goin’ On: Backstreet Boys

Now I’ve previously mentioned that I love these guys and have done for many years now. While most people assume that the Backstreet Boys split up long ago, that is simply not true. In fact they have been going strong for well over fifteen years and are still just as strong now. With that said, their new album ‘This Is Us’ is due out this coming October and will be worth checking out, as the guys usually deliver quality material.

Their new single is out now on USA iTunes and the new music video has just premiered. Here it is for you to take a look at.

So today marks eight years since Aaliyah was taken from the world and a talent was truly lost within music. The Future Of Music: Mamas Gun

Now here are a group I have been ranting and raving about for such a long time, I even had the pleasure of an interview with the lead singer of the group on the site last year and needless to say, it was a huge treat for a Mamas Gun fan like myself. Their album, ‘Routes To Riches’, is all set to be released later on this year and it is definitely a project I am truly looking forward to. If anyone deserves success, it is these guys. So soulful as well as boasting bags of style.

Here are a couple of videos of the guys, the first being a promotional video for their upcoming project and the second is one of their music videos, which should definitely give you a better insight into this incredible group who will apparently be supporting Beverley Knight on her upcoming UK tour.

Underrated: Nhojj

Nhojj is a singer/songwriter and a very talented one at that, beginning his musical journey at the age of five singing hymns in his father’s church. This led onto him singing on local radio shows, etc. Since then, Nhojj has moved onto bigger and better things within his career. He is now on his fourth album, ‘Soul Comfort’, which is definitely worth checking out if you get the opportunity to. This is certainly a very talented and underrated artist to keep your eyes on.

In the meantime, here is a song of his which should give you a little more insight into this incredibly underrated talent.

Star: Jazmine Sullivan

Jazmine Sullivan has been doing her own thing within music for numerous years now, but it was only last year that she finally got around to releasing her eagerly awaited debut. Still, Jazmine is a talent within music who should definitely be a lot more appreciated within the industry. If anything, Jazmine’s earlier work from before her debut album should be released. They show off this artists true potential.

Bigger Things To Come: Guy Sebastian

For those who aren’t familiar with one of Australia’s amazing talents, Guy Sebastian is gearing up for his first American release and his latest home release (which will be his fifth album back in Australia). Now Guy Sebastian is pretty amazing, as I have mentioned before. Not only could this talent sing his way out of a wet chip bag (I know, what would he be doing in one of those?), but he also has bags and bags of talent along with it, it’s only a matter of time until he’s big elsewhere too. If you’re not familiar with this artists work, then I strongly recommend you check out his previous albums (especially his second album).

Here is a little interview which Guy did recently.

Remembering: Aaliyah

At the end of this month it will be eight years since Aaliyah was tragically taken from the world and time really has flown by, it does only seem like yesterday when we heard the news and fans mourned the loss of one of music’s brightest stars. Aaliyah was a talent who had began to flourish in her own right, she was doing her thing years before, but it was leading up to the year she was so cruelly snatched away (along with numerous others who were on the same plane) that she began to showcase just how amazingly talented she truly was. There aren’t enough words to even begin to paint a picture of how music lost one of its true angels, so I shall let a video do the talking. Sadly though, the following video is behind the scenes of what turned out to be Aaliyah’s last ever music video, needless to say, her music lives on and I’m sure a lot of her fans will be out in force to pay another tribute to this amazing artist this month. Thanks goes to Jessica for this video.

Access Granted: Aaliyah Rocks The Boat

Can Put No Foot Wrong: Janelle Monae

This artist is just incredible in every sense of the word, I’ve been a fan of her for years now and her earlier work is inspirational. Now don’t get me wrong, I do adore her album that she released well before it was officially released after inking her deal with Bad Boy, but her earlier work has always been in a league of its own. Here is a performance that she did with The Roots that should give you more of an insight into how incredible this artist is within music, hopefully bigger things are coming from this talent, she certainly has talent by the truck load, this is one talent the music industry should know about. Thanks to Eb for highlighting this amazing performance.

Janelle Monáe – Sincerely, Jane (The Roots Jam Session)

Congratulations: Jennifer Hudson

Sexy Never Left would like to wish a big congratulations to the very talented artist, Jennifer Hudson, who has given birth to her very first child, a little boy who Jennifer and her partner have named David. A big congratulations to them all.

He’s Trouble: Ginuwine

Ginuwine is an artist within the music industry who has been doing his thing for numerous years now and with his latest album not long since released, Ginuwine has shown once again that he knows all too well how to deliver a great album. This guy can do no wrong in my view, he’s amazing.

Here is the music video for his latest single to be taken from his album, ‘A Man's Thoughts’.

Ginuwine – Trouble

Promising Talent: Anjulie

I have Jennifer to thank for introducing me to this artist, I saw the album cover listed on her site as an album she likes and was intrigued. Needless to say, I checked it out and it’s actually very good. Anjulie is certainly an artist to keep your attention focused on, as she’s an artist that brings a mixture of sounds to her music. Her self titled album is out now and is definitely worth checking out, if you haven’t already. A perfect piece of music from an artist with a lot of potential.

Here is one of her videos for you to check out, which might give you a better insight into this amazing artist.

Anjulie – Boom

Squeals Likes A Teenager: Backstreet Boys

Now I do love the Backstreet Boys, always have and always will. I’ve been a fan of these guys since 1995 when they came onto the scene here in the UK. Now while most people assume that these guys broke up long ago, I as a fan of theirs know very well that they didn’t; infact their last album was out two years ago and the album before that was in 2005, so the guys needless to say have been pretty busy. What with numerous albums under their belt and a tour that they’ve not long since finished, they are back this October with their new album, ‘This Is Us’, which from what I’ve heard so far is shaping up pretty nicely. Hopefully the guys can achieve more success with this album, as their last album went pretty underrated over here.

The Backstreet Boys also seem to be a group that age very well, especially Brian Littrell, who is just gorgeous.

Here is a behind the scenes video on the set of their upcoming single.

The Wait Is Almost Over: Whitney Houston

With Whitney Houston’s long awaited album almost here, some people are quite rightfully getting a little excited, especially as it is her first studio album in numerous years. Having posted the cover of her upcoming album ‘100%’ recently, here is the supposed tracklist for the project, which is due out over the next coming months. SITE UPDATE!!

Just a quick update to apologise for the lack of posts on here over the past week, I've had a few things to do as well as there not being much news on the music front and this being a site that doesn't just post anything on any artist, there hasn't been much to post about. The site will be taking a little break until next Monday, when 'Sexy Never Left' will be back and posting more on talented artists within music. Until then, have a great week.
