Fried (pronounced ‘freed’) are incredibly talented and yet seemed to slip completely under the radar within music, despite having one of the hottest albums of the year with the incredible, ‘Things Change’. The album was originally self titled, but due to poor sales they were dropped from their previous label and subsequently signed with a new label, they reworked their debut album, adding new songs to the tracklist. But the album slipped under the radar and went unrecognised within the industry, which was a shame considering it really was one of the best albums released within that year.
The lead vocalist Jonte Short has such an amazingly soulful voice and provides such strength to each song on the album, it’s very hard not to sing along. It just baffles me how such an amazing album can virtually go unrecognised.
