Amerie is back with a new album which has been released this week here in the UK and a very good album it is too, although I have already picked my favourites out from the project, as you tend to do when you get a new album. The song I’m about to feature on the site is definitely my favourite on the project and showcases why Amerie deserves a lot more love and appreciation from people in music, not only is she incredibly talented, but she also remains in the shadows of some other R&B artists who in my opinion aren’t as consistent as this artist. The potential is there for Amerie to be a huge recording artist, but unfortunately her previous record label, etc haven’t handled her talent correctly when it comes to promoting her music, which is a shame.
