Soulful: Blue Magic

Blue Magic are a Soul group from Philadelphia and a very talented one they are too. Former member of The Delfonics, Randy Cain, helped in setting the group up when he drafted in singer/songwriter Ted Mills to work on some writing, which later led the group Shades Of Love (which featured the remainder of who would later turn out to be a part of Blue Magic). It was later determined that Shades Of Love lacked a standout lead vocalist and it was then decided to merge Ted Mills in with the group and rename them, Blue Magic. That same year, they signed with Atco/Atlantic Records.

The song that I’m about to post just oozes that soul that was definitely very present back in the 1970’s.
