At the end of this month it will be eight years since Aaliyah was tragically taken from the world and time really has flown by, it does only seem like yesterday when we heard the news and fans mourned the loss of one of music’s brightest stars. Aaliyah was a talent who had began to flourish in her own right, she was doing her thing years before, but it was leading up to the year she was so cruelly snatched away (along with numerous others who were on the same plane) that she began to showcase just how amazingly talented she truly was. There aren’t enough words to even begin to paint a picture of how music lost one of its true angels, so I shall let a video do the talking. Sadly though, the following video is behind the scenes of what turned out to be Aaliyah’s last ever music video, needless to say, her music lives on and I’m sure a lot of her fans will be out in force to pay another tribute to this amazing artist this month. Neither can I, time has really flow since then. She's so missed within music though, she's missed in general.
